Founded in 2011, NM Consulting, Inc. offers a variety of services. What started as curriculum writing and instructional design, grew into training and consulting to schools, districts, and countries in which cultural and linguistic differences within the population made teaching and learning challenging. Naomi has earned the MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and has completed all coursework and dissertation proposal for a PhD in Linguistics in Education.

As demand grew, Naomi added other services including blogs, articles, and design and creation of print materials, ebooks, social media posts, websites, explainer videos, and animated story boards. Her stories tend to focus on travel, nature, faith, and lifestyle topics for home and garden. As a former newspaper columnist, a regularly featured magazine writer, and academic, Naomi brings narrative to life. Naomi holds the MFA in Nonfiction Creative Writing and offers writing workshops for people of all ages and walks of life.

The company offers consulting on home and garden design and decoration and focuses on water front properties, liveaboards and houseboats. Naomi offers tips and space-saving ideas for these tiny homes. Her preferred style, Global Bohemian, works in small spaces with pops of color and unusual art. A purveyor of antiques and vintage ephemera, Naomi blends old and new to revive past memories with modern sensibilities.
